I had these two flavorful artifacts of Vecna in the deck even before the previous season of Stranger Things introduced the new big bad that our young crew appropriately nicknamed Vecna. On a side note, I recently picked up the new D&D epic adventure book Vecna: Eve of Ruin and cant wait to read through it

Because this deck's primary goal is filling the yard with spells, I leaned hard on a Flashback subtheme for the deck since there's so many useful flashback spells we plan on running anyway
