Howgate Wonder Size:M26 on the site of anHowgate Wonder is a very large apple that's usually used in cooking but also enjoyed by lots of people as a dessert apple. It's quite a sweet apple, ready late in the season (early October) and generally heavy cropping, with fruit storing well, into March. It's partially self and grows strongly. The fruit is yellow green flushed with a little red.
