2012 Diamond Valley Pinot Noir 750ml Bottle hermitage well balanced and high classThis 2012 Blue Label wine is the Reserve (but not labelled as such) from the old vines in Diamond Valley (Yarra valley region). It was hand picked, wild yeast fermented in small vessels with some whole bunches and matured in French oak (20% + new). This pinot has generous flavour, a silky palate, good density, ripe dark red fruits, smoky spice, mineral driven tannins, is well balanced with mature complexity, structure and length. Phew!
