Both teacups are textured with snow-white drippings and speckles providing a snowy effect which is created by interaction between ash of wood and original unglazed clay in a complicated firing process

Even though Ma’s painting is not  as exquisite as you see in those handpainted teacups of our shop

It holds roughly 200ml of liquid allowing to shower the teapot during the tea session

and thin enough to prevent the fingers from the heat as well

Jupiter Woodfired Gaiwan teapot Both teacups are textured withThose gaiwans are made of blended clay and woodfired in Dehua, China. They feature the patterns running down diagonally from left to right across the body,which is formed by blending brown with white clay skillfully. Those gaiwans stand out for a vitrified surface with dark pockmarks throughout as a result of firing for 3 days and nights in the kiln. Each gaiwans hold approximately 150 ml of liquid featuring a thick body which helps to retain the heat
