Spink S 2483, approx 27mm, 2. 93g. The "Boy King" son of Henry VIII and Jane Seymour, ascended the throne at age 9 and ruled only six years. Scarce first 6 pence coin type struck for Great Britain! Rare variety with mint mark y (12: 00 obverse) denoting struck 1551 at the Southwark Mint. Well struck and centered. Certified by NGC to XF Details Bent (not significantly distracting).
