You can tap a bunch of mana rocks then attack with something meaningless like a Thopter to deal a bunch of damage to something and dig through your deck to find your finishers

If you load up your deck with other creatures with damage-dealing abilities, this could be useful, but its definitely niche

In other words, it's a virtual preview of what it might be like to actually play the Pokmon card game
