Charkha Blanket, Light Blue African Collection We’ve added a gentle fadedHANDWOVEN ON TRADITIONAL WOODEN LOOMS Charkha is the traditional wooden spool used to spin cashmere yarn for weaving. Our cashmere comes from Kashmir, the birthplace of this exquisite material. The fine fibers are hand spun on charkhas and then hand dyed using natural dyes. Spinning the yarn by hand makes our throws sumptuously softer than machine made versions. Each throw blanket is woven on a wooden hand loom and finished with a short fringe,
