Hibiscus x moscheutos Luna™ 'Red', PP# 16155- Compact Hardy Hibiscus, Rose Mallow Size:3 qt but terrifically rewardingBlooming July to September, Luna 'Red' has deep burgundy "crepe de chine" flowers, 6 8 inches across, surrounded by dark green elliptic leaves. It is deer resistant but attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies. Sun with afternoon shade is the ideal exposure, but it will tolerate full sun. These perennials make their appearance late in the spring, so don't assume they have turned up their toes. Have patience, and you will be more than amply rewarded.
