Rhythms and Sparks small coastal painting There's something peaceful and meditative

There's something peaceful and meditative about this painting

held within it

A gem coloured fragment of seaweed

both literally and metaphorically

Can you spot the bird flying high

Rhythms and Sparks small coastal painting There's something peaceful and meditativeThe title comes from one of my own poems, and suits the lively energy of this little painting, with its 'sparks' of silver leaf and the repeating rhythm of the shapes. It feels like it's dancing, following its own tune and finding joy in making up the steps a good reminder for life! I see this brightening up a kitchen corner, or somewhere you'll see it often for a little energy boost. Painting size: 30 x 30 cm 12 x 12 in Mixed media on wood panel
