Large Regency Red & Gilt Toleware Tray, c.1830 Art The silver lid boasts stunningA Regency period red painted toleware ware tray of large proportions with central portrait, c. 1830. The central portrait depicts a lady gazing into the distance, holding her dog in the crook of her arm with what looks to be a horse whip in hand, before a background of trees. The whole being surrounded by a gilt painted border. There are some scuffs and scratches commensurate with age but overall the tray remains in a remarkably good condition
