In 1818 he moved to Vienna to study painting at the Vienna Academy and was a student of Moritz Michael Daffinger (1790 1849). He rose to great esteem in 1840's & 50's when he made his most famous paintings. Including among Austrian Nobility. He died in 1873 at age seventy four. The beautiful
