At the end of the day, it's a small power/toughness bonus and some lifelink, which is good with our Scions & Spellcraft commander, but perhaps not good enough
Duskana exemplifies exactly the type of commander that I love to build around personally and frequently feature on Plot Twist : it rewards you for playing lots of creatures and implies a specific direction to build your deck toward while still leaving plenty of room for innovation
