The earliest Gibson Ripper basses (1973 1975) do not have pickup mounting holes. This pickguard will not fit an Epiphone manufactured instrument even it does have the Gibson name on the truss rod cover. Made from genuine paper phenolic bakelite measuring 2mm thick and does not have any outer bevel around the edge of the pickguard.
