1960s Bertrand Goldberg Bleached Oak Daybed with Kravet Velvet Cushion all Planks may have been replaced1960s bleached oak daybed by Chicago architect Bertrand Goldberg with new cushion in Kravet performance velvet. Cushion height: 7" Bertrand Goldberg (1913 1997) studied at the Bauhaus in Berlin and worked for Mies van der Rohe before returning to Chicago and worked on prefabricated housing. Socially progressive, Bertrand continued to apply his design philosophy to affordable housing projects, hospitals, college campuses and residential buildings.
