A strong smell of cognac and calvados rejuvenated frosted senses as we settled into red fruit jam and strawberry liquorice. Delicate alpine flowers rested over apple crumble and pears soaked in brandy whilst a wedge of marzipan arrived with marmalade on rye bread. Tangy orange skin
