I focused on the different wing stages when I designed the statement necklace and felt this was the best shape for the studs. Each ladybird is backed with 1mm black painted and varnished plywood they're easy to wear. The outer wings are mirror red acrylic and have engraved and painted spots sealed neatly underneath.
