To me, its more like a savory Cerasulo di Abruzzo. Its made from the Erbanno grape, part of the Lambrusco family. It has great texture, a fuller body, it dominated by a savory, earthy, mineral profile. It is delicious in a very northern Italian way. Delicious on its own but can certainly hold its own with food.
