It was very approachable at full strength with aromas of coconut husk, very ripe red berries and demerara sugar, but in the background the lurking scent from flue curing Virginia tobacco. The taste neat was rich and tangy as well as thick, oily and syrupy cough medicine, plum juice, raisins and sultanas.
