Sword of Forge and Frontier An interesting card that was actually designed by a fan years before Wizards got round to it, this 'Sword of' gives protection from two-fifths of creatures, and has two very relevant ramp and card advantage abilities
She gains a loyalty counter to create a 1/1 creature token (which automatically becomes two), she adds a +1/+1 counter on all of your creatures AND gives them flying until your next turn (all for free), or she can sacrifice three loyalty counters to destroy a target creature of mana value three or greater
When put into formats where Lightning Bolt exists, this cards a bit less useful due to its inconsistency
However, this Latios art stands out from the other best Latios cards, as the close-up view and high level of detail combine to make this card a showstopper from the Black & White era
Mew Ex is somewhat an exception to this because it also has the Psyshot attack for 20 damage that requires one Psychic Energy
