Original American World War Two Era HBT Tunic, with Gas Flap, c.44" Chest World War One before the winged star becameAn original period piece, contract dated 4 May 1945, pattern 15 July 1944. Has the 13 Star buttons and a post World War Two "U. S. Army" tag over the left breast pocket. Retains the gas flap, part of the "Special" designation in the design. Nice condition, little bit salty, perfect for an in the field look. Size marked 38R, but designed to worn over wools, so measured by hand as follows; Chest 23 inches externally, so approximate 44" chest size.
