This card can be rather slow, but if you can protect it or dump a bunch of counters on it quickly (Angelfire Ignition is one of my favorite cards for that), you have an aggressive nightmare for your opponents to deal with

I wanted to point out however that the bland-faced thing references grimoires attached to the old man, when it should be referring to its self

This playstyle developed from me realizing over time that the deck simply cannot function if it doesn't draw the right cards at the right time, and the best way to ensure that you have everything you need is to force your opponent to allow you more Draw Phases
