Description

A nice thick volume

Holing to the epaulettes where rank insignia appears to have been installed and then removed (presumably where Captain's pips have been removed to be replaced with the crown)

Captain's bar mounted as a sweetheart badge

but enamelled variations were trialled during 1942

The combination of medals and Observer brevet is unusual

Original World War Two American Greetings Card Clasps A nice thick volumeGood overall condition for age, World War Two era. Nice bit of social history.
