The underside of the plate is marked with the Royal Copenhagen crown mark along with three blue waves, the pattern number 711, the shape number 9589 and the artists initials of mel+. The bar under the letter m in Denmark dates the manufacture of the piece to 1958. The plate measures 8 5 8 in diameter. I have two of these
