It can create very high heat, from either of the two charcoal areas and each can be controlled by vents. We use Habachi for everything, but Japanese BBQ (Yakiniku, Yakitoru) and Korean BBQ are seriously fun using this. The cast part is made of high temp Diatom Clay.
