A strechie is a larger caliber bullet i. e. a 0. 577 caliber fired in a 0. 54 caliber rifle. The eitire bullet is down sized being loaded into a rifle barrel too small for the bullet. The bullet is elongated being fired out of a rifle barrel that's too small that's what we have here. A civil war rarity not seen all that often.
