The handle appears to be hand made from hickory

6mm Flobert cartridge Button For your consideration one ConfederateHeres one you do not see very oftenfor your consideration one 6mm Flobert cartridge. Thomas lists in his handbook as item 1A & should have no head stamp just like this one. The base of the brass cartridge shows a clear firing pin mark but this does not look like a put together cartridge. Overall the cartridge is just out of round a little & the pictures tell the rest. Great patina.
