A few different colors and looks from classic purple amethyst, to green and tan banding, and even some with gray chalcedony. The back has been coated with cement and painted black to give a cleaner appearance. These amethyst geode crystals are from Brazil. It's also called an amethyst cathedral. Some of these have little 'fill' spots from a little repair. The photo with the ruler shows
