Glory of the West Size:M116 Raised by Dr Alston atA cooking apple. Glossy yellow with tinges of green and red flush, some russet. Tender, very juicy yellow flesh. Vigorous and bears well. Keeps for about two months in cold storage. Sometimes confused with Dutch Codlin, however this actually refers to another apple variety. Permission to use photograph by Philip James (Dinefwr Heritage Orchard) is gratefully acknowledged.
