Marged Niclas Size:M25 Found in an old orchardA late Welsh eating and bittersweet cider apple. Medium to large yellow skinned with orange flush on sunny side. Skin can be rough and dry with some russet around the stem. Ripens in November. Can stay on the tree until February. Discovered during a survey of orchards near Llansdwrn by the Countryside Council for Wales. There are some trees growing around Dinefwr over 70 years old. Knowledge of this old Welsh variety has unfortunately been lost in
