風土：葡萄採收自Napa Valley最優質的產區。土壤由沖積而來的礫石所組成，因此具有良好的排水性，與河谷帶來的霧氣保留酸度，更與法國波爾多左岸的王者村莊相當類似，被稱為“Napa中的Pauillac”。是最適合Cabernet Sauvignon生長的環境。

釀造：從1996年起便轉換為有機農法，極具前瞻性的莊主Aurélien歷經葛羅兄妹，Arnoux Lachaux，Jean Grivot等名莊與紐西蘭的學習，更堅定對風土的探索，幫助酒莊的評價更加提升。Aurélien曾提到對他影響最大的精神導師，就是白酒名家Olivier Lamy，最親密的好友Charles Lachaux也常跟他分享直接向Lalou Bize-Leroy女士學習到的經驗與感想。
