Pierre Charri originally developed the Brush Pendant in Vietnam while exploring lacquered pieces and techniques at Hanoia's company workshop. The design undergoes a multi stage firing process to achieve its distinct metallic appearance. A crushed mother of pearl paint base gives the unique iridescent quality and colour perception variation under different light. Its geometric but organic dome shape is
