California Condor Balsa Ornament jewelry-6 Nine banded armadillos almost alwaysAs the largest North American bird, the California condor is critically endangered. Despite their size you don't have to fear them. They are called obligate scavengers, which means that they only eat dead animals. Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand carved and then painted with non toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Approximate size: 5" x 2".
