Derflingher, a Mexican artist was quoted as saying, "We need to press our ideas with our hands, this cannot be done with machines. His mastery of glass craft shows in this well balanced, meaty wine goblet with its wonderful hand feel. There are areas around the metal cage and on the "bubble" elements where there is some flaking from a clear coat (shown in photos).
