Full pots of greenish purple, long skinny tubes dangle from reddish stems, looking like a wild hairdo. In brightest light to full sun, the stems turn scarlet and the beads ruby red tinged, hence the other nickname, "String of Rubies." We also have the name "String of Pickles" to work
