Dating from the 1920s Art Deco era, this gorgeous handmade bag with hand worked rafia embroidery. Hand embroidered with a distinctive Arts & Crafts Glasgow School Rose motif, the bag has been worked in a beautifully rich colour palette. Lined in a deep magenta cotton sateen. This reminds me very much of the Bloomsbury group and wouldnt look out of place in one of their paintings or room displays at Charleston. Measurements: Bag: 23cm
