17TH CENTURY FRENCH WALNUT FARM TABLE Furniture he began to drawBeautiful, late 17th century French walnut farm table known as a 'Table a Feuille'. The top folds out and spins to create a larger table. Below the top is a recessed compartment where cutlery, tablecloths, etc would be stored. Wonderful patination. From the Burgundy region of France. Beautiful, original iron hinges and four cross stretchers. The feet have been tipped at a later date, as expected for a table of this age and use in country farmhouses.
