Lots of wet sand as the tide is at it's lowest ready to turn and begin it's journey back up the beach

Painted in the depths of winter on my often daily walk close to home at Crooklets Beach

Although your eye is drawn to the sun

The shimmering light of the last sun on the sea was magical and the breakwater silhouetted in the background

Morning Light at Northcott Prints It holds the most beautifulPainted from Northcott Beach early on a summers morning. The sun was just rising up behind me and catching the underside of the waves. It was high tide and there was only a gentle surf but it was mesmerising and warm. Depicting the natural stones in the foreground by drawing back into the paint, more colour was added for some high colour notes.
