Strong and sturdy stems reach for the sky with pairs of waxy, wide leaves with round edges ending in sharp points. Silvery greens and soft, pine greens vie with each other; some leaves mostly silver, some mostly green, and speckles over all. Stubby, beige aerial roots poke out up and down the vines like thumbs hitching a ride; still looking for moisture and new soil like they did in the tropical
