The slip coupling is designed for joining  pipes of equal diameter but do not have an internal shoulder so that the fitting can be slid up one pipe

Europress 316L Spigot Elbow is an equal Spigot x Adaptor fitting

The assembled joint requires a matching gasket (see Gaskets & O-Rings)

The Small Adaptor Flange requires a loose backing ring (see Flanges & Backing Rings page) plus a gasket (see Gaskets & O-Rings) and provides a demountable connection of Europress pipe to other flanged equipment or pipes
