1 Mamoswine Ex An Incredibly Strong Obstacle For Opponents Mamoswine is already an incredibly powerful Pokmon in the video games, and its card in Battle Partners does a perfect job of emphasizing this sheer strength

Powerful counterspells like Mana Drain or Narsets Reversal, board clears like Perplexing Test or Evacuation, card filtering like Dig Through Time or Frantic Search, raw card draw through Blue Suns Zenith or Commanders Insight these only just scratch the surface of what a Merchants Scroll can do to reinforce your hand and available options

I might get out of mine in a year, though, before the next Commander decks come out, but then again, what are the odds they make another deck where lands matter so soon

This card can be especially nasty in Commander, where creatures run rampant and playing control strategies often dont go all that well

Perhaps power creep has simply made this card obsolete, as a five-mana 3/3 Angel flyer with some upside is just not cutting it by todays standards
