Meanwhile, only two cards stand out to me as being unreasonably inflated by scarcity: Razorclaw Bear is another single-printing Portal oddity, while Rick, Steadfast Leader was (until its Universes Within counterpart appeared) only available from a controversial $50 Secret Lair
His mechanic, allowing you to draw up to an opponent's hand size or cheat in a creature when he attacks , isn't a great match for the rest of the deck
You can mix and match these five new themes (Mortals, Cunning, Orcish, Riders, and Elven) with Jumpstart Boosters from The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth 's summer Jumpstart release (or any of our other Jumpstart offerings) for even more Middle-earth fun
They offer an affordable alternative for players seeking international editions of iconic cards such as "Volcanic Island" and "Underground Sea." While not as rare as their black-bordered counterparts, Foreign White Bordered cards hold value among collectors for their unique appearance and accessibility
Everyone updates their decks at a different pace
