mtg poison deck commander Karumonix, Rat King TOXIC RAT Tribal Magic Custom – CommanderComplete Reach (This creature can block creatures with flying.) Deathtouch (Any amount of damage this deals to a creature is enough to destroy it.) Whenever another creature dies Help me pick a commander

Snapcaster Mage 4.6 Power 4.7 Support 4.6 This guy is the best card printed for cube for quite a while

The main concept are both the introduction of something that modern MTG players would take for granted -- the first being multi-coloured cards , cards which require multiple different colours to summon

I should note that Gyruda was the rake I nearly walked into cartoon-style, with the handle flipping up and hitting me in the face

The fact that EDH is the dominant format for MTG and is a singleton format only helps the cause for serialized cards, as players are indeed willing to spend to bling out a favorite deck

Anything that makes your expensive spells more manageable is worth considering in a deck built around high-mana-value plays
