Aside from being a human, which is a very relevant creature type in Commander, Modern and basically every other MTG format, Esper Sentinel is good because it reads: Whenever an opponent casts their first noncreature spell each turn, draw a card unless that player pays X, where X is Esper Sentinels power. Its a bit like Rhystic Study, but the cost can be far higher if youve got things that make humans stronger or you can put +1/+1 counters onto Esper Sentinel
Tifa Lockhart Rarity: Rare TYPE: Legendary Creature SUBTYPE: Human Monk CMC: 2 Mana cost: USD: $119.18 EUR: 73.98 TIX: 0.00 EDHREC RANK: 2876 (1/2) Trample Landfall Whenever a land you control enters, double Tifa Lockhart's power until end of turn
This means that effects that trigger off sacrificing creatures or even just creature deaths work pretty well with Fling
Lands As Blue Control, you'll want to consistently hit your land drops each turn so you'll eventually be able to cast multiple things each turn
