Taking one and a half damage a turn is a serious problem for anyone who intends to allow his opponent to live for several turns

#5 Obsessive Pursuit I love the Aristocrat archetype, and I see this card being a great value piece for a Rakdos or Mono Black deck looking to sac Treasures or creatures

Its a cool card, but its quite pricey, and is only at its best with five-color tribes like Dragons and Elementals

Since Basim Ibn Ishaq is seeing play in Modern, the card's value is higher than most included in the set, with the Showcase version going for the most due to how much harder it is to obtain than the base (which also has solid value in its own right)

It comes into play untapped and will tap for any color you need
