I'm Daniel Holt, senior game designer and lead designer for the Magic: The Gathering FINAL FANTASY Commander decks

Rooted in the magic of Disney characters and storytelling, Disney Lorcana is easy to learn for TCG newcomers while still offering strategic depth for experienced players to help create opportunity for more people to enjoy the excitement and fun of TCGs

After every card was concepted, we moved onto writing hundreds and hundreds of art briefs and collected even more game references

A host of The Lion King cards offer strong options once the inkwell is filling out, and Maui: Demigod takes the crown with eight strength, eight willpower, and the ability to generate three lore per turn

This was a great way of naturally blending Magic 's language with the lore moments in FINAL FANTASY
