The Destined Rivals set, released on May 30, 2025, as the tenth and final main expansion of the Scarlet & Violet series, is a market darling with 244 cards (182 main, 62 secret rares), pitting Team Rocket against Trainers like Cynthia and Ethan
Itll find a home in any deck looking to go wide, like Jetmir, Nexus of Revels or ones generating a ton of sacrifice fodder like Teysa, Orzhov Scion
Brilliant Stars Astral Radiance Pokmon GO Lost Origin Silver Tempest Crown Zenith Scarlet & Violet (SVI) Paldea Evolved (PAL) Obsidian Flames (OBF) Scarlet & Violet151 (MEW) Paradox Rift (PAR) Paldean Fates (PAF) Temporal Forces (TEF) Twilight Masquerade (TWM) Shrouded Fable (SFA) Stellar Crown (SCR) Each of the sets above has a regulation mark of F or later
Regardless of quite the reason, we are thankful to see that the deck isn't a relative train wreck like some of the decks in the past (looking at you, "Wade Into Battle" from Commander 2015 !)
New Blood is a rather unique Vampire typal payoff that has only seen one printing in the Edgar Markhov Commander 2017 deck to-date
