For a deck built around such conditions, this feels like an odd misstep
People have mentioned that Etali is a worse version of Mind's Dilation, but I'd argue the opposite: the enchantment is getting you up to one spell each turn (possibly more if opponents are casting instants outside of their turn) and only from opponents, while Etali is getting all those spells at once and includes you
Plus, these decks usually have enough cantrips and card advantage to find the creatures that are important to the deck, so theres no much need to pack a bunch of creatures in the first place
Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker The first Nicol Bolas planeswalker card, and an 8-mana card at that, Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker is still worth having in your deck, especially in lower Commander Brackets
Funnily enough, the card was errata'd for years to implement this change
