I find the card drawing of the Stone in practice to run around 6 mana for three cards, which is basically the same as eight for four from the Tower

I had a quick look and I like what the designer does

Whilst Tamatoa, a set one card, asked you to have as many items on the board as possible to get the most value out of him, Magica De Spell, The Midas Touch instead looks for a tall, not wide strategy

There are other even smaller cards that do things like this with extra conditions, like Edgewall Innkeeper
