Battle Partners (SV9) is a Japanese Pokemon Card Game expansion
In a game all about collecting, the worst thing you can do is actually finish your collection
What I would do with this move is to spread the damage evenly on their benched Pokemon so whenever one comes in from the bench you can knock it out with one move, because if you just stock pile damage onto 1 Pokemon on their bench you can't knock it out on the bench and they won't switch that Pokemon to be their active Pokemon unless that is their only Pokemon left
I can only think of a handful right now (Djinn Illuminatus, Harness the Storm, Frankie Peanuts, Cloudstone Curio, and Tooth and Nail) and there have been times when Spikes have messed up Tooth and Nail by grabbing some game ending combo or accelerating it off major Urzatron lands or other quick mana ramp, and then use something that prevents it from being countered (like Boseiju, Who Shelters All)
While mechanics always have an impact on gameplay, there arent very many that completely change the way you draft like Learn/Lesson does
