Drill Bug

This is following a sparse initial reveal of only three cards last week

This makes for a fundamentally riskier style of gameplay, as getting a rough starting draw (a gamble alleviated somewhat by the fact that the rules allow a redraw attempt) can make it difficult to get off the ground

The treatment of promo cards may be unique, such as the foil treatment or in the case of D23 Expo, D23 Expo marks, on the collectors set, but the characters and gameplay mechanics of those cards will be in the regular set. Miller says the goal for Lorcana is for the game to be an opt-in experience, not a coerced one, so players will have access to all the mechanics available in the game through the standard product without needing to travel to cons or events
